New partnerships, new logos!

From our new partnerships with Control Up and InVentry, to new wins overseas, our sales teams have been up to something a bit different...

Firstly, we have another new string to the DTP bow! Working with our client Battersea Power Station and securing our first deal with them for InVentry. Nice one Ed 👏

InVentry provides visitor management, sign-in and access control technology, helping organisations manage who is coming in and out of their buildings, control access to different areas and maintain an accurate record of staff, visitors and contractors on site. It’s another great example of us broadening the conversations we’re having with existing customers and finding new areas where DTP can add value. The more we understand our customers and their wider technology requirements, the more opportunities there are for us to support them beyond the solutions we already provide.

We also have another new customer win for the team!

Arizona State University’s London campus has agreed to a small print installation with DTP, giving us a new foothold with one of the world’s largest universities. It may be a relatively small project initially, but it’s a great new relationship for DTP and another opportunity to demonstrate what we can do, build trust and hopefully grow the account over time. An amazing result and another name to add to our Higher Education customer base.

Some fantastic news from the EUC team too!

DTP has once again been selected by HP as its preferred reseller partner for the upcoming NDNA framework tender and renewed award term. NDNA is one of our key routes to market within Higher Education, so being chosen to collaborate with HP is a really positive step and a strong endorsement of the work the team has put into the submission.

There’s still another stage to go, with HP now needing to secure its place on the framework, but this puts us in a great position should the bid be successful. A big thank you to everyone involved in pulling together what HP described as a 'detailed and comprehensive' PQQ submission.

UCISA SSG26 provides a perfect opportunity for us to meet with IT Support teams from across Higher Education institutions, share experiences, and hear first hand about the challenges the sector is facing.

This year's theme - Beyond Support - highlighted the evolution of IT Support Services from a reactive role (fixing issues and responding to problems) to a proactive, strategic function that creates measurable value for higher education institutions.

Our sponsorship at the event this year gave us a great opportunity to present with one of our existing customers - UWE - on how they have adopted our ITAD services and how they use the returned funds to invest in new tech innovation - such as HP WXP to achieve just that.

We've given the DTP Org Chart a refresh!

We know lots of you get asked for the latest version for things like tender responses, customer requests and internal documents, so we’ve used some new software to create a clearer, more up-to-date version that everyone can access.

You can find the latest Org Chart in the Marketing Resources Teams folder here: DTP Group Org Chart.

We’ll be updating it quarterly to make sure it stays current. If you spot anything that needs changing in the meantime, just let the Marketing team know and we can get it updated.

Customers, employees, regulators and procurement teams are increasingly demanding evidence that organisations are reducing their environmental impact. Yet according to experts featured on DTP Group’s Control Alt Disrupt podcast, many businesses are still relying on carbon offsetting schemes instead of addressing the behaviours and systems creating emissions in the first place.

The result is a growing gap between sustainability ambitions and meaningful action.

Event Highlights

It's fair to say event season has certainly kept us busy over the last couple of months, with the DTP team getting out and about across the UK, and a little further afield!

Our Enterprise technical team were out in force at the HPE VME Champions Club in Manchester, getting stuck into the “Great VM Reset” and the big conversations happening around virtualisation across compute, storage and networking. Great to see the team representing DTP, sharing ideas and bringing plenty of insight back into the work we’re doing with customers.

We also had a brilliant day at NWUPC26 at the University of Liverpool, catching up with institutions from across the sector and talking everything from print and infrastructure to modernising operating models. There’s nothing quite like being on the ground, hearing directly from customers about what’s working, what’s challenging and what’s coming next.

Meanwhile, Gemma and Howard took DTP stateside for HPE Partner Growth Summit and Discover 2026 in Las Vegas. As well as a packed few days of announcements, meetings and conversations, it was fantastic to see DTP recognised on the main stage for our work supporting the circular and social economy. A huge achievement and a real reflection of the work happening right across the business! 🥳

Back in the UK, we headed to Oxford for ICTF26, talking all things DEX, Print, Hybrid Cloud and End User Compute with the education community.

Then it was on to UCISA SSG26, where we hosted a panel discussion with the University of the West of England exploring how DEX and ITAD can work together to create a smarter approach to device lifecycle management. A great chance to share some real-world examples of how universities can improve employee experience, get more visibility across their estate and unlock more value from retired devices.

BUT it hasn’t been all work and no play…

Our annual Sales & Marketing kick off DTP Inspire 2026 gave us a few brilliant days away from the laptop screens, from paddleboarding, yoga, wild swimming, walks through the Yorkshire countryside, some fantastic guest speakers and plenty of laughs along the way. Most importantly, it was a chance to spend some proper time together with our vendors and strengthen our partnerships.

We also headed to Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park for International Day 2026 where England secured a dramatic win over Uruguay to retain the Coronation Cup. The sun shone, the fizz flowed and a few of the team became very enthusiastic celebrity spotters after discovering the cast of a popular Disney+ series were also there! 😎

Safe to say it’s been a pretty busy summer… and we’re not done yet! These events provide fantastic opportunities to hear first-hand about the challenges and priorities shaping different sectors. To get up to speed with what we have coming up across the business, view our events calendar here (internal use only - please do not share).

Over the last three months, our Configuration Engineers, Cameron Marshall and Tadas Cistovas, have consistently delivered outstanding results. Not only has the quality of their work remained exceptionally high, but they have also managed to complete an unprecedented volume of device configurations in a remarkably short period of time, all while meeting every customer deadline and working within normal business hours.

To put this achievement into perspective, between May and July alone, this two-person team unboxed, tagged, imaged and configured more than 4,600 devices. We think you'll all agree that is an incredible amount of equipment to process. Delivering that volume while maintaining the high standards expected by ourselves and our customers is nothing short of outstanding.

Of course, achievements like this are only possible with the support of the wider business, so a massive thank you is also extended to our fantastic Sales Support, Purchasing and Warehouse teams for everything they've done to help make this success possible.

Alongside this workload, we have continued to support our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) customers, who returned more than 2,000 devices during the same period. Each of these devices required assessment, data wiping and palletisation before being sent to HPFS for processing.

And also a huge thank you to Mark Neely, Guy Hawkridge, Darren Mayoh and Graham Forrest for stepping outside their usual responsibilities and getting stuck in to ensure our ITAD customers continued to receive the high level of service they expect, without disruption, during this exceptionally busy period.

Thank you all for your hard work, commitment and teamwork. It's a fantastic achievement and something the whole team should be proud of.
