Inspire 2026 (2)

July 13-15, 2026

DTP INSPIRE 2026

Picture this: the day begins with a mindful yoga session that eases you into the morning. Fuelled by a hearty breakfast, you then try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding and canoeing and get your walking boots on for a walk through gardens, woodland, a deer park and the commanding landscapes on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

You arrive at a secluded bivouac beside a druid’s temple and stop here for a bite to eat for lunch. On the way back to the castle, the luxurious retreat where you’ll spend the night, there’s time for a refreshing wild dip in the lake before dinner on the terrace in the heart of the parkland shared with newly made friends as the balmy mid-summer evening stretches on.

Sounds good doesn’t it. And the best part? This is work - just not as you know it. This isn’t just any event – this is DTP Inspire 2026.

Inspirational Speakers

This year we have not one, but two inspiring pre-dinner speakers!

Greg Van Der Gaast started out his security career being recruited by the US government after breaking into a nuclear weapons facility, but what he's really interested to share is what he’s learned about securing organisations since. Simple but powerful ideas that can change the tide around security, while helping businesses perform better.

Miriam Payne is an ocean rower from East Yorkshire who crossed the Atlantic solo and later became part of the first all-female team to row the Pacific non-stop and unsupported, covering 8,000 miles from Peru to Australia. She has endured isolation, equipment failure, and relentless conditions across five and a half months at sea.
